Quest is the event at the end of a main event. We all know the famous Viking Quest, but lately this Viking Quest has been replaced by two other events: Snow Quest and Desert Quest. They basically are the same, but have a small difference. In this post I share the main differences with you and give you strategies how to play the side event.
When are the Quests
The Snow and Desert event are available at the end of the main Attack, Raids or Symbol events and last for 1 or 2 days. These Quest events are never at the same time. They are always on at a time. As it is important to know that you have to be in village 50 or higher to get this event.
How to play the Snow and Desert event
Both events contain 10 missions. If you complete them all you are awarded with a big stack of spins, some coins and (if available to you) a new gold card. There are 3 types of mission:
- Spins a number of times: In these missions you have to spin a few times. Always play these missions since the number of coins you win is higher than the costs.
- Win Coins: In both events this mission is very hard. Especially when you move on the ladder the missions get very hard. Make sure you play these mission only when you have enough coins. At least double the amount you need in spins, since the winning are very low on the bar.
- Win Coins on the bonus wheel: This mission looks like the mission where you have to win coins. This time, only winnings from the bonus wheel add to your winnings.
There are 2 gold cards in the Quests
Yes, you read it correctly. There are two gold cards to be won in the Quest. The first is at the sixth stage. The second on the 10th and final stage. The gold card on the 6th stage is new as long as you need a lot of gold cards. If you do have them almost all, changes are big that the card is a spare. As long as you don’t have all the gold cards, the card on the tenth stage is always a new one. Besides the big stack of spins this is a big extra reward.
How to win in Snow and Desert Quest
As you need a freaking amount of coins to win certain missions knowing how to play these events is essential. One thing that is for sure is that you need a lot of coins ready to play. You also must be aware that chances are big that you will lose a lot of your spins. And if you are very unlucky they all might be gone before the missions are over. A group of people that really helped me play comfortably in Coin Master are The original High Rollers. This is a group of Coin Master players that have played for a long time now, but also are very far in the game. They shared the following essentials to start in a Quest:
- If you are on a village between 50 and 200 you need at least 750 Billion coins to start
- Until you get the first gold card spin at maximum bet
- 7th and 8th mission, use 3rd last bet (so stop using the maximum, but downgrade by 2)
- 9th mission, use 2nd last bet
- 10th (final mission), use a mix of 2nd and 3rd last bet
- If you are on a village between 200 and 300 you need at least 1,5 Trillion coins to start the quest
- Until you get the first gold card spin at maximum bet
- 7th, 8th and 9th mission, use 2rd last bet (so stop using the maximum, but downgrade by 1)
- 9th mission, use 2nd last bet
- 10th (final mission), use a mix of 2nd and 3rd last bet
- If you are on a village above 300 you need at least 2,5 Trillion coins to start
- Until you get the first gold card spin at maximum bet
- 7th, 8th and 9th mission, use 2rd last bet (so stop using the maximum, but downgrade by 1)
- 9th mission, use 2nd last bet
- 10th (final mission), use a mix of 3rd and 4th last bet
This means that when you advance in villages it will be harder to complete the missions. You have to be more careful with your coins. And you must understand that it will take a longer time to complete the Quest.
Some tricks to play from me
If you don’t have the money to play in one of the quests, you can still profit. Here are a few neat tricks to use to play:
- Always start playing. You get a bunch of coins before you even have played a single mission.
- The rewards of the mission in which you have to spin a certain amount of times are always profitable. Whatever comes out of the wheel, the rewards are higher than your bets.
- If you have a solid amount of coins (like 200 billion for villages between 200 and 300 you can still go for the first gold card. You will probably lose some coins, but you will win some spins and a gold card
- You can save some coins on the bonus wheel levels. The number that is turned is in most cases 3x. Choose a bet with which you can win the mission on bet x3. Chances are big that you win the mission in one bonus wheel spin and you don’t have to play maximum bet.
- Final tip for the quests: Changes of getting big wins from either the bonus wheel or three symbols in a row are awfully small. Much smaller than on Viking Quest. So, if you think you will lose all your spins, just stop and take your loss. You will have another go at the next quest event.
The difference between Snow Quest and Desert Quest
If you look at the images and missions you might think that Now Quest and Desert Quest are the same event, just with a different theme. If you look more closely and compare a few events than you find that Snow Quest has somewhat more difficult missions, but the rewards are also a bit higher. So beware that when you play Snow Quest you definitely have enough coins stacked to play!
What are your thoughts about the Desert and Snow Quest?
Do you play the Quest events? I would like to know why and if you play what are you tactics. Do you follow the tactics of the experts or do you have your own winning strategy. Please comment on the post and we will all learn!
