Teams is one of the newest features in Coin Master. Teams consist of a maximum of 50 players and within a team you can give each other spins and cards. Also as a team you can play for a team chest. In this post I tell you everything you need to know about playing in a team in Coin Master.
Join a team
If you want to join a team, just click on the teams icon on the home screen. If you are not part of a team already there are some suggestions of teams that have spots available. Each team has a maximum of 50 spots. You can’t just join any team. First a team has to have a spot available. Second, some teams are private teams. They have the status closed. You can join, but before you are a part of the team you need to be accepted. Third, there might be a minimum amount of stars required. If you chose a team and you meet the team criteria you can join and enjoy the team benefits.
Create your own Coin Master team
If you don’t want to join an existing team you can also create your own team. For this you click on the create team button. If you have created a team you can invite your friends to join. If your team gets high stars or a lot of players the team will rank higher and get more attention from Coin Master.
Ask for cards or coins
The main advantage of playing in a team is that you can trade cards and donate spins. You can use the two buttons on the bottom of the page to request your cards and spins. Play for the team chest
In Coin Master, team chest rewards are earned by members of a team when their team chest is filled with coins. The rewards for filling the team chest can vary depending on the league and the level of the chest. Some possible rewards for filling the team chest include coins, spins, pet food, and exclusive in-game items. The higher the level of the team chest, the greater the potential rewards will be. Some of the rewards may be rare and valuable, making it a good incentive for the players to work together and fill the chest as quickly as possible. Team chest rewards can be a great way for players to earn valuable items and progress in the game while also working together with their team members.
Team chest leagues
In Coin Master, players can join or create teams and participate in team chest leagues. These leagues are competitions between teams where players work together to collect as many coins as possible. Each team has a team chest that fills up as team members collect coins. Once the chest is full, the team earns a reward. The team that fills their chest the fastest or collects the most coins overall wins the league. This is a way for players to collaborate and compete with each other to earn rewards and progress in the game. Team chest leagues are alternated or combined with Team Castle events.
How to switch teams
If you find you and your current team are not a match anymore it is time to switch teams. You can look for other teams while you are still a member of a team. Only if you decide to switch you have to leave the current team first. Be aware that if you leave a team you don’t get the team rewards anymore and you don’t get the rewards of the team you move to. Make sure you have a nice stack of spins to get a head start in the new team. Maybe the best moment to switch teams is at the end of Team Castle. You can collect the rewards the team collected and make the move to the other team before the new event starts.
NB. There is a tiny loophole when you switch teams. In the 10 minutes after a team event ends and the moment the new team event starts you can switch team while you keep the rewards you earned and play for rewards in your new team. Be sure to stay put and when the event ends just grab your rewards, leave the team, look for your new team and enter. If you complete all these steps before the new event starts you can just start playing for new rewards.
Team roles
You might be wondering why some team members have a different badge. This is because in teams you have different roles. These roles don’t effect the game play, but are only for team management. I gave a short overview of the roles. If you want to know more about team roles in Coin Master, please check the MoonActive documentation on this subject.
- Leader: Can add new members, promote/demote members/co-leaders and edit team details
- Co-leader: Can add new members, promote/demote members, but not leaders/co-leaders
- Elder: Can accept or decline new member requests
- Member: just the most valuable asset of a team 😉
Things to consider when you want to switch teams
- Make sure you use your XP to upgrade your Pets and grow your Stars count. Most good teams have a stars threshold.
- Check if you like the team before the new event starts. This way you can still switch without losing rewards
- Chat with the people in your new team. Active members usually play a lot and help to get great rewards
- Switch during Team Castle. In this event you can collect the rewards already during the event.
- Be active both chatting and playing in your new team. Inactive players are kicked out teams to make room for active players.

We love them & we all work seriously hard to do the very best we can & more.
I watched the crowns going into team chest.
I’m a very very active daily player who is highly addicted to CM.
As soon as i saw we had upgraded to Team Chest 8 I was really excited.
So tried to get my rewards no luck.
I cant fathom why ive no rewards?

Only thing I can think of is that you collected just too little points in the event. You can check this by looking at you position in the team event. This only works during the event, so for now I think you cannot do that anymore. If you need more help, just contact the in-game support.
I have played in lovely1981 and helped tremendously to get to the fourth chest in team chest
But I can not excess any of the team chest
Can you tell me how to open all three of the team chest that the team has been rewarded

Hello Gwen, to open the team chest there are 3 things important. First you need to be on the team before the event starts. If not, you see a message that you do not participate. Second, you need to be part of the team when you want to open the team chest. If you are out of the team you cannot open the chest anymore. Third, you have to get enough points in a team event to qualify for the team chest. You can check this by clicking on the team chest progress bar. If it says you need another number of points you have not qualified. If you can see your amount of points under the My Team tab you have enough points to get the chest. Please make sure to open your chest before the next team chest events end. I have not checked, but it maight happen that your chest is gone by than.

In the team chest league, must all players get the required keys before chest 10 is completed? I know in the castle event if a player holds their hammers and doesn’t use any before all awards are won they they can’t collect any awards. Is it the same for the team chest tournament?
Yes, in team chest you have to earn a number of points before you can get a reward. The number depends on yout village level. For me it is 2,000 points now and I am around village 250.
